I have worked independently since November 2024. Client work paid for the time. The rest of the time went into explorations and personal projects that I chose because of what they would teach me. This page collects them in three groups: things I made by hand, things I produced for other people, and things I built. Ragi & Moon
My mother's brand. A small-batch homemade food brand centred on ragi, which we run together. It began as Amama's, a curation venture in traditional food and handicrafts that showed at Dastkar exhibits, and later narrowed to food. I built the identity: the name, a warm palette and the logo. I wrote the menu copy and product descriptions and did the Tamil-to-Devanagari transliterations. I worked out the pricing, the hampers, and the food and packaging costs. In September 2026 I drew four kolam-style border patterns on the iPad for the lid layouts. [[PLACEHOLDER: when it started, what has shipped, and which photos exist]]
Produced for other people
This is programme management rather than design: getting artists to agree, filling the seats, setting up the space, and making sure everyone is fed and paid.

Common Room Collective
I am one of five founding members of a creative collective with a studio in Yelahanka. It hosts community events and workshops. I wrote the concept note and budget for an EV battery-lifecycle event for a sustainable-mobility network: three interventions and a battery-passport mechanic, with the budget revised many times before it was final. I wrote and edited the member bios and the collective's introduction. I built the revenue-split model for the collective's events. [[PLACEHOLDER: dates, and whether the event ran]]
Built
Brometheus
A shared household app for the three of us who live together. It has inventory, to-dos, a shared reading list, events and travel, and reminders, with a deliberately silly theme. It is a web app on Vercel with an Express backend and a key-value store. Three helpers use Claude: book lookup, medicine lookup, and a parser for free-text entries. Instead of accounts it has a password gate with member and guest tiers. In September 2026 I decided to rebuild it in React Native for the App Store and Play Store.
